A very Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season!
On this side of the world, it was a good Christmas…just a bit different being in a country that doesn’t recognize Christmas in the over-the-top American way. As a present to myself, I picked up a few more goodies for the JZX100:
Santa may have not delivered the goods himself, but as if he had been reading my mental Christmas list, he delivered an ad promising a lot of items I had been looking for: OEM front fenders, headlights, corner lights, lip; and drift spares – (2) Desmond Wisesports 17×9+48 and (4) unknown two piece wheels 17×9+20.
A guy was cleaning out his storage and I capitalized scooping up a lot of stuff I have been wanting. For the wheels, I wasn’t really picky on looks or style; I just wanted to find multiple pairs of 17×9’s. Mission accomplished. I am also contemplating going back to OEM front fenders when I make the exterior purty. I was pleased to find these dent free. The headlights will allow me to get rid of the ugly custom units in there now. This car will be sexy yet! All in all, not a bad haul for $140.
While I was in the neighborhood, I stopped by a local parts store, Auto Shop Turbo, and picked up a GReddy/Trust oil sandwich plate. That will allow to install the Defi gauge set I bought a while back – water temp, oil pressure, oil temp, and boost. With those in, my interior setup will be pretty much finished.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
