I’m sure it is safe to make the statement that per capita there are more USDM cars rolling on JDM wheels in Japan than in the United States. Here we have a Chevy Camaro on Work VS-XX wheels (I believe, someone speak up and confirm!). If it were lowered a bit, it could pull off the cultural mash-up.
